*  Do everything to the best of my ability - you are creating ripples!

I will follow these guidelines to the best of my ability and know that there will be consequences, including being sent home, if these guidelines are not followed.

Youth Group ABC's

ACCOUNTABILITY
Within our covenant of shared ministry, we will hold each other accountable to know the Mission and vision statements of the Wesley UMC and to work together with the following values:

BE A BODY OF BELIEVERS
We will not be content with "playing" ministry. We will be the Ministry. We will seek Synergistic mutuality as members of one body in the Lord, acknowledging that the Overall health of the body is dependent upon the health of each member. ( 1 Cor. 12:12-31)

CREATE CHRIST-CENTERED COMMUNITY
We will take time to know and be known, to love and be loved, to celebrate and be Celebrated in a safe and love in community where Christ is the center of all we do.
(Romans 12:8-18; 1 Cor. 13)

DEEPEN OUR DEVOTION TO THE DIVINE
We will intentionally deepen our corporate and individual spiritual lives through Bible study, Worship, prayer, small group, missions, fasting and retreats.
(Acts 2:42)

EXPECT EXCELLENCE IN EVERYTHING
We will seek excellence in everything we do in ministry for Christ and in the context of our Personal lives before God. (Psalm 8:1 KJV)

FOCUS FULLY ON FAITHFULNESS
We will pursue self-examination and honest reflection regarding the extent to which our Individual gifts, talents, and personal goals are consistent with God's call and Christ's claim on Our lives. ( 1 Cor. 12:1-11)

GIVE TO THE GLORY OF GOD
We will grow in our giving, with the tithe as the expected and normative response to God's blessings In the covenant community. ( Acts 4:32-37)
